![]() When you put those coolant hoses back on make sure the o-ring on the inside hasn't rolled out before you put it back on. Well turns out the 3000 doesn't support the DPF delete. I play on doing a complete coolant flush Changing thermostat and checking coolant to keep from rusting inside out. He bought 5' turbo back exhaust with DPF delete, intake and a SCT X3 3000. Might be a good idea to change the thermostat while you have the upper radiator hose off. zerex g05 is suppose to be the Motorcraft premium equivalent and you can get it at oriellys. Just don't forget to have the right coolant. I'm assuming your using the sinister delete instructions? Your leaving the side cooler so it should make easier. What are the lines that are coming off of it? I see two there. I would just make sure after you get done that there's no play in that cooler and whatever else is connected to it. So from what I understand the leak is directly related to taking out that passenger cooler and your keeping it there for support so Its gotta work. Just make sure the clamps are tight on that cooler. Ya surely it will work as long as the hose clamps don't break. ![]() I've spent a few days on this site and am just hoping for updated info, I realize on a 12 yoa engine there won't be as many updates. Lastly - I watched a video on a egr delete gone bad when one of the pipes failed and the exhaust gases led to the cab catching on fire, is there a preventitive fix fort this? I just want a stock tune once I delete the EGR, not looking to do anything fancy. Tuner - I can find some H&S on ebay but have also read on this site that bullydog is an option - looking for thoughts on this. I'm seeing where EGR deletes are hard to come by and there are some on ebay and some other sites - but can anyone point me to one they recommend? I'm on a short budget due to covid and need to make it last. My goal is to delete the EGR, tune it and use it as a daily driver no heavy hauling or funny business. DPF is gone and truck was tuned before I got it but I don't know the tune. 2008 KR, truck has 239k and engine currently in it has 139k (bought it like this).
